Grief will not still my tongue–I
am
screaming injustice
heartrending screams like
those we did not hear
as their voices were silenced
too soon
I will not be silenced–we
WE must not be silenced
through this midnight
we must create
shower the world with
words, colors, images–sacred
reminders
darkness will not prevail
